i never opened up at all
missing out on something that means
the world and more to me
isn't worth it i
know that much
sunlight hitting the waves perfectly
birds and breezes wisping through the trees
moments as special as these are meant to

mellowing out, and
realize it's better now
and that it's completely fine

brand new
but that

easier to breathe again
now that it's all settled in
i just had to
readjust and
keep myself together and
share the benefit
of what's
kept me floating adrift
time has passed
it's safer to
settle down and share with you
the
moments
that we
created so long ago
nightfall seems to
bring the most
liveliness
in me

rising

i feel comforted
as we realize it's
easier to breathe again
now that it's all settled in

readjust and
